 Astrolab SHOWCASE debut albumPada akhir November 2007 lalu, Maritime Records merilis album perdana Astrolab (www.myspace.com/astrolab8) , sebuah band indiepop asal Bandung. “The Blue Thread Saga” adalah judul dari album pertama yang dirilis oleh mereka. Seorang teman yang biasa memutar podcastnya di Inggris, yaitu Dan dari indiepopradio.uk, mengatakan “Astrolab adalah band indiepop baru yang sangat unggul di eranya...”,. Sementara dari beberapa blog pribadi di Eropa dan di Amerika, mereka di juluki sebagai “the most Sarahesque Indonesian band in the world”. Sebuah penghargaan yang luar biasa musik mereka dapat diterima oleh beberapa pencinta musik di mancanegara. Akan tetapi Astrolab sebagai band yang berasal dari Indonesia merasa hal ini sangatlah tidak lengkap jika mereka tidak menunjukan apa yang telah mereka buat kepada tanah air mereka sendiri, yaitu Indonesia.
